Illustrated Talks by Les Robson on the History of Nottingham and the County
The first talk will be on Thursday 19th January 2012, at the Methodist Hall 2 - 4pm with a break for tea and biscuit, and then on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of February and March ( 2 Feb; 16 Feb; 1 Mar; 15 Mar). There is no need to register in advance, simply turn up on the day . A small charge of £2 will cover the cost of a cup of coffee/tea and the hire of the church.
Spanish and Italian
Can you speak Spanish, and would you like to get together with other members to improve your skills? Better still, if you are sufficiently proficient, would you be prepared to take the lead? There are members who would really like to meet up and if you are one of them please let Sue O'Donoghue know on 0115 9372989 so that the wheels can be set in motion.
Similarly there may well be Italian speakers who would like to get together, if you are one of them please contact Sue.
