The programme for 2011 is below, last updated 7th March 2012 (to print the programme click here): ![]() Short Walks eventsApril 19th 2011 was a glorious day and 17 U3A members of the Short Walks group rambled in the Prestwold area of Leicestershire, before concluding with an excellent lunch at the Greyhound pub in Burton-on-the-Wolds. During the walk, Bill and Sheila led the singing of 'On Ilkley Moor bah tat', in the middle of a cornfield, indicating where our group leader, Barbara Wallace, and husband John, would probably next be walking as they head off to their new home in Yorkshire. Our thanks go to both of them for having been the group leaders for two years.Pat Murfet ![]() Longer
