Christmas Social 16th December 2025

Members filled the Village Hall on the afternoon of Tuesday 16th December, and entertainment was provided by Andy Smith, making a return visit. Tea & coffee was served on arrival, and later refreshments included a glass of wine and mince pie.

Remembrance Day Sunday 9th November 2025

A number of members attended the Remembrance Day service held on 9th November. Our u3a wreath was laid by Sam Boote at the Memorial Gates on the Rectory Field in Keyworth.

Group Leaders Lunch Saturday 11th October 2025

Following the earlier Open Coffee Morning, a lunch was provided for Group Leaders and their Assistants in the Centenary Lounge. The delicious home cooked two course meal was prepared by Groups Co-ordinator Jacqui Campbell, seen here being thanked by K&D u3a Chairman.

Coffee Morning Saturday 11th October 2025

On Saturday 11th October a Open Coffee Morning was held in Keyworth Village Hall. Both members and visitors were able to chat with a number of Group Leaders to find out more about what goes on within K&D u3a. Refreshments were also on hand.

'Pimms on the Rec' 22nd July 2025

Following the July monthly meeting, a social gathering for 'Pimms on the Rec' was held on the rectory field, and about 75 members came along for an enjoyable drink and chat.

Keyworth Show 5th July 2025

On a fine afternoon, u3a had a stall at the Keyworth Show. We welcomed many visitors, resulting in an excellent number of new members.

Visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight RAF Coningsby 13th May 2025

A small group was able to visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Conningsby. The aircraft are housed and maintained in a hanger on the edge of the RAF facility, and the group was given and excellent tour by u3a member Tony Broadbent.  Photo shows one of only two remaining flying Lancaster bombers - the other is in Canada.
